You're my new favorite viewer, Wrightmommy!! I see you are a regular blogger as well...not sure if I'm losing any significant weight but I'm trying to do some kind of cardio every day and I think it helps. I'm doing phase 1 of the "Oprah" plan which is NOT to weigh myself (because you either reward or punish yourself by eating) On this work schedule, my biggest temptation is to go home and graze---then go to bed! Thanks for your encouragement!!

Dear Sue,

I have been wanting to write you for many years. I do apogize for the delay! My mother, Harriet Zesinger Weaver, died in 1992. You gave her a lot of pleasure whenever you mentioned the weather in Erie,PA. She had the boldness to call your station and talk with you in the early 90's. She found out that your mom knew my aunt, Jane Zesinger, I think.

Anyway, my mom, Harriet Zesinger Weaver was born and raised in Erie. She loved you!! :) You were a bright and cheerful spot in her day! My Dad, James D. Weaver, continued to watch you until his death in 2003. Having been born and raised in Erie, as well, he felt a connection to you. He was a Family Physician for many years until our family left Erie when he became a freshman congressman and we moved to Bethesda, MD. in 1962.

Anyway, it has been sad to see the generation above us depart. Now, I watch you and love to tell my children that "This is the weather lady that Grandpa and Grandma loved to watch."
(NOT that YOU look THAT old at all!!) :)

I went to Walt Whitman High School with your friend and neighbor, Karen. She is the sister in law to good friends of ours out here in Gainesville, VA. (Jeanne Rosenbaum).

It's a small world! Keep up the great work! You are a legend! You are such a cheerful and beautiful woman on the inside and on the outside. You really are so talented! You make the weather so fun and interesting!

God bless you!!

Sincerely, Mary Ann (Weaver) Lash
